With 22 years of HR and Recruiting experience in a variety of industries (publishing, nonprofit, sustainability, tech, retail, government, manufacturing), I provided recruitment consulting services to 30+ startups and other small companies for the second half of my career, designing and leading a variety of talent acquisition initiatives, matching the right people to the right jobs while using my straightforward, honest and empathetic approach to develop processes and systems that raised the bar in how recruiting is conducted.

 

My comprehensive services improved candidate experience, empowered managers, eased hiring team stress, and lowered overall time-to-fill (my cumulative average remained at <30 days for my entire tenure for 100+ positions filled). My HR foundation serving a variety of industries ensured my work was backed up by an understanding of employment law, employee benefits, performance management, diversity and training/development...enhancing my effectiveness as a recruiting leader.

While I am now retired from the field, I am grateful for the two-plus decades spent in it and how those experiences helped me open minds and streamline paths. I will never stop advocating for job-seekers in a world where corporate greed and an all-too-common refusal to evolve has manipulated and traumatized employees.
